My wife and I had a wonderful time birding with you! Over 125 species in 2.5 days! Thank you, Diego. Hopefully we will be back next year to find that heron.

Will and Mary Stein

Summer 2014 has been very rainy, but we were lucky on February 19 and 20 with Will and Mary from New Orleans, as except for a few drizzles we could bird all day both days. We did the 2-day trip with overnight at Itapeby where Poppy and Rodolfo were ideal hosts, as usual.




We were able to see 125 species, in Otamendi, the Ceibas area and the farm Itapeby itself. Some highlights: White Woodpecker, young Diademed Tanagers, Rusty Collared Seedeater, and many Lesser Thornbird, a bird that previously I have seen few times.
