After a very long journey from the sources in central Brazil, the Paraná River becomes the wide estuary of the Rio de la Plata (River Plate). By the river, a humid forest grows, with canes, undergrowth and vines.
Patches of this forest are found in several spots in and near Buenos Aires. List of usual species here include Golden Crowned Warbler, Sooty Fronted Spinetail, Bronze Tailed Hummingbird, Bran Colored Flycatcher, Checkered Woodpecker.
